Phillip Jones is a London based, Welsh working-class creative. After studying an MA in Acting at East 15 School of Acting he co-formed Seventh Sense Theatre, which is still active and producing today. He won the Best Actor award for his work in the BBC short film Packaged, directed by singer and producer LEMFRECK. He was nominated for another best actor award for his work in Squat. He has been nominated for Standing Ovation award for his stage performance in STILL HERE
His debut short film BWL BOY aired on BBC 2 Wales and was nominated for Best Screenplay, Best Film, Best Score and Best Young Actor/Best Actor. Winning Best Score.
His debut play DOG HAIR opened at Vaults Festival ‘23 to rave audience reviews and critical acclaim from reviewers. DOG HAIR was a Vaults Staff Pick of the Week.
He has collaborated with a wide range of artists across England and Wales as a script advisor, dramaturg and creative associate.
